My name is Katie Shields and I am glad you stopped by!

Katie Shields Design (previously Atlántico Design Co) started as a side hustle and creative outlet. My husband and I have embarked upon two renovations, three managed new builds, and just completed our fourth new construction home with me serving as the General Contractor. Through all of these projects over a span of 10+ years, we have learned the unavoidable ups and downs of home building. My primary focus has turned to luxury spec homes as I pursue my Residential Builders License.

Before starting my entrepreneurial journey, I spent most of my career working as a sales executive for Fortune 500s and startups in the healthcare software and medical device spaces. After becoming pregnant with our first child, I decided to take the leap into starting my own business, which I franchised, sold in 2020, and have not looked back!

Tipsy Spritzers, a better-for-you canned cocktail, was launched in 2021 and has been my primary focus for the past 5 years.
